What’s the difference between Swedish, Combination, and Deep Tissue massage pressure?

Swedish massage uses light to medium pressure and features long, flowing strokes that are designed to promote relaxation and ease tension. It’s perfect for those new to massage or simply looking to unwind. Combination massage blends the gentle techniques of Swedish massage with more targeted work, like deeper kneading or trigger point therapy, allowing the therapist to address specific areas of tension without being too intense. Deep Tissue massage involves firm, sustained pressure to reach deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It’s ideal for clients dealing with chronic muscle tightness or pain, though it may feel more intense than other types.

How should I prepare for my facial appointment?

To get the most out of your facial, it’s best to arrive with a clean face, free of makeup or heavy products. This allows the esthetician to work directly on your skin and ensures better absorption of the products used during your treatment. Try to avoid using exfoliants, retinol, or other strong actives for at least 48 hours before your appointment. It’s also important to let your provider know if you have any skin sensitivities, are taking any medications that affect the skin, or have recently had treatments like waxing or peels. This helps us customize your facial safely and effectively.

What should I wear during my massage therapy session?

You should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to your massage appointment. During the session, you’ll be asked to undress to your comfort level, and you’ll always be fully covered with professional draping, with only the area being worked on exposed. This ensures your privacy and comfort throughout the massage. If you're receiving a specialized treatment like a hot stone or deep tissue massage, your therapist may provide specific guidance, but overall, your comfort is our top priority.

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment, and what’s your policy?

Yes, you’re welcome to cancel or reschedule your appointment at any time, as long as you call us at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if you miss your appointment without contacting us, we will charge the card on file for the full amount of the scheduled service. We understand that emergencies happen, so we encourage you to reach out as early as possible if your plans change.

What amenities are included with my appointment or day pass?

All spa services that are one hour or longer include full access to our luxury amenities. These include steam rooms, infrared saunas, showers, locker rooms, and a serene relaxation room for unwinding before or after your treatment. If you're not booking a service, day passes are also available and valid Thursday through Tuesday from 10 am to 4:30 pm. Fitness center access can be added to your visit for an additional fee.
